Customers may be experiencing higher than normal latency on some routes currently. We are working to localise and resolve the issue.
Update: Some routes have been dropped and latency is back within normal parameters.

We do not expect this to be customer affecting, however ther may be some routing delays for a few seconds while the physical upgrade is happening. We are upgrading our core network to enable us deal with a much higher traffic load and mitigate more effectively any potentially unwanted traffic that could cause network performance degradation.

Our Network Team need to perform emergency maintenance on Distribution Router 1. This involves replacing a faulty memory card in the device. During this time the network will re-converge through Distribution Router 2. Customers may experience a brief disruption to traffic while the routes re-converge. This is expected to last up to approximately 60 seconds.
The faulty module has been replaced however we have not yet returned Distribution Router 1 to active service because we need to ensure the configuration files are implemented 100% accurately. During this period some customers may have been experiencing intermittent packet loss.
Between 1830 and 1900 we will be reintroducing Distribution Router 1 to the core network - you may experience disruption for up to 60 seconds as routes re-converge.
